Music By The Bay Summer Concerts at Fort Monroe

Outdoor concert at waterfront Continental Park at Fort Monroe

Bring your own picnic, chairs, and blankets to enjoy summer sunsets by the Chesapeake Bay, accompanied by the sweet sounds of some of the region’s most talented performers. Large groups welcome. Drop-off at Continental Park, bus parking at Outlook Beach parking lot. Free parking onsite.

Join us on Queens Way in Downtown Hampton for a summer-long concert series featuring some of the best local and regional bands. Nearly every Saturday, the street comes alive with music, food, and community. Bring a chair, grab your friends, and enjoy a laid-back evening filled with great tunes and even better vibes. With restaurants, bars, and shops just steps away, it’s the perfect way to experience Downtown Hampton all summer long.

*Tip: While the summer concert series is select dates, there’s usually something happening Downtown most Saturdays throughout the summer! Check their calendar for upcoming info.

Groovin By The Bay

Sundays June 22 – August 31, 2025

📍 Mill Point Park in Downtown Hampton, 100 Eaton Street, Hampton, VA 23669

Sunday evenings will be rockin’ in Downtown Hampton this summer with a musical mix including Motown, oldies, swing and beach rock. Listen and Dance while enjoying the music along the water at Mill Point Park.

Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets (along with their dancing shoes). Each week will also host one to two food vendors ($) on site. Although pets are allowed in the park, for their comfort and safety we recommend they be left at home.

PARKING: Free parking is available in the Hampton University garage next to Mill Point Park, and in any legal, on-street spaces as marked.
