Hampton Virginia Aquaplex & Splashdown Park
The Hampton Virginia Aquaplex, Virginia’s largest competitive aquatic facility, made its debut fall of 2022. The Aquaplex was designed for Mid-Atlantic and national competitive swimming, diving, water polo, and other aquatic sport events – or for fun in the outdoor splash park. Features include the 50-meter pool, multiple bulkheads, Colorado Time System, 25-yard program pool, seating for 1,500 spectators and 760 competitors.

Hampton Roads Convention Center
Boasting 35 flexible event spaces with the capacity for up to 14,000 delegates, as well as a 102,600-square-foot exhibit hall (divisible by three), the Hampton Roads Convention Center, is the perfect venue for any indoor athletic event. Over 2,700 hotel rooms in close proximity, including an award-winning Embassy Suites hotel, support the center.

Boo Williams Sportsplex
The 135,000 square-foot Boo Williams Sportsplex is specifically designed for amateur sporting competition. The Sportsplex can host a variety of athletic events including, aerobics, basketball, bodybuilding, boxing, cheerleading, fencing, field hockey, gymnastics, indoor track, martial arts, table tennis, team handball volleyball, weightlifting, and wrestling. The center features 8 hard-wood basketball courts with floor to ceiling dividers, 12 volleyball courts, 200-meter, six-lane IAFF-certified synthetic surface indoor track, 25’ ceiling height and retractable bleacher seating for 4,000.

Hampton Coliseum
One of the most recognizable architectural jewels in all of Hampton Roads, Hampton Coliseum is set on 75 acres adjacent to the Hampton Roads Convention Center. The venue opened in 1970 – the first large multi-purpose arena in the Hampton Roads region and the state of Virginia. With a 120’x240’ arena floor, 84,000sqft of exhibit space, NCAA spec sports lights with pre-set focus, and scalable seating capacities from 3,000-12,800, the Hampton Coliseum is a great venue to host sporting events.

Hampton University Convocation Center
Located on the Hampton University campus, the HU Convocation Center has been hosting athletic events since 1993. Accommodating such indoor sports as basketball, cheerleading, aerobics, fencing, boxing, karate and wrestling, the center boasts a 14,112-square-foot exhibition floor and ample stadium seating for 7,200 attendees. Other amenities include a pressroom, two meeting rooms, loading dock, dressing rooms and two concessions stands.

Briarfield Park
Set on 49 acres in the heart of Hampton, Briarfield Park is the perfect outdoor venue for both youth and adult athletics such as archery, softball, baseball and tennis. The park is home to four lighted softball fields, five lighted tennis courts, a fitness trail, large playground, four large picnic shelters, bleacher seating and a concessions stand.
