June 7 @ 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm

On Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 12 noon to 6 p.m., the streets of historic Phoebus will come alive with pride, unity, and creativity as the Phabulous Phoebus Pride Festival returns for another unforgettable year! Hosted by Hampton Roads Pride, the Hampton Convention & Visitor Bureau, and the Phoebus Partnership, this free, family-friendly celebration is a powerful expression of love, inclusion, and local culture.

Entertainment Schedule, Hosted by Vivian Deveraux Valentine:

  • 12:00 PM – Soft Riot
  • 1:15 PM – Dancing King and Queens of Drag
  • 2:15 PM – Not Those Girls
  • 3:15 PM – Pride Speeches and City Proclamation
  • 3:45 PM – Vivian Deveraux Valentine Performance
  • 5:00 PM – Myra Smith & The Phoenix Collective

One of this year’s most significant additions to the festival is a special screening of the local documentary series Red Lights & Civil Rights: A Hampton Story by Dr. Charles H. Ford, professor at Norfolk State University and longtime board member of Hampton Roads Pride. This moving series explores Hampton’s rich LGBTQ history from the very beginning. Screenings of Red Lights & Civil Rights: A Hampton Story are scheduled for 1 p.m., 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., at The American Theatre. The auditorium will be open 15 minutes prior to each screening. Following each showing, guests will have the opportunity to meet and speak with Dr. Ford during scheduled meet and greet sessions in the theatre lobby.
