[Sold Out] Hampton’s Streetcar 390 Project: Tracing the Tracks

Spend an afternoon tracing the streetcar routes of Hampton between 1880’s and 1946.
This adventure will be led by local community historian Greg Siegel, chair of the Streetcar 390 Project. Your journey will begin and end at the Hampton History Museum. The tour will take place on Saturday, June 14th and Saturday, June 21st. Departure will be at 1pm and the tour should last 3 hours. It will begin and end at the Hampton History Museum. Tickets to the event are free with a donation to the Streetcar 390 Project. To reserve your space, please call the Hampton History Museum at 757-727-1102 – only 14 seats per tour so get your tickets early!
The tour traces the old streetcar routes and explores Hampton’s rich history of growth and change during the latter part of the 19th century and in the early 20th century. The tour goes from downtown Hampton to Buckroe, Phoebus, and Fort Monroe and includes a special stop at the restoration site of the Streetcar.
