We’re proud to present the Phoebus Pop-Up Museum, a one-day-only event on Saturday, November 4th! What’s a pop-up museum, you ask? Well, it’s a museum that takes place in a space that isn’t a museum and is only open for a limited time.

For this exhibition, we’ll focus on postbellum and turn-of-the-century Phoebus, shedding light on the remarkable contributions and legacies of Phoebus’ early African American civic leaders and entrepreneurs. This is a rare opportunity to discover the inspirational stories of these founding figures with accessible historical facts, photos, and artifacts you won’t find anywhere else.

This is a special, one-day-only event with FREE ADMISSION! Join us from 10am to 6pm at The Hampton (Event Venue) located at 34 East Mellen Street in the heart of #PhoebusVA, and don’t forget to enjoy the full Harrison Phoebus Day festival taking place just outside the museum space!
