Special Family Event!
“Moonlight Stories With Orisirisi”
Saturday, February 10, 10-10:50 am, FREE
Museum admission free all day, 9 am-5 pm
Celebrate Africa with Orisirisi drumming, dance, and call and response, inspiring the audience by exploring traditional stories of African heritage. The audience meets “Dog and Turtle,” “The Wolf and The Three Kids,” “Anansi and his Six Sons,” and hear many more entertaining stories that impart life lessons.
This free Arts for Learning Virginia presentation is underwritten by the Virginia African American Cultural Center.
Museum admission will be free Saturday, February 10, from 9 am to 5 pm. Explore over 400 years of the past in our galleries, from the life of the Kikotan Indians before European arrival, to Human Computers and the Space Race!
