The Hampton Mosaic Festival celebrates world cultures and the environment through history, art, music, and dance — all curated to create a sense of belonging.
Save the Date for Saturday, April 20, 2024, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., at Mill Point Park and surrounding Downtown streets.
The Hampton Mosaic Festival includes traditional music, stories, drumming, and dances of civilizations representing Indigenous People, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Americas. Also featured are more than 20 activities for both kids and adults, including themed games and do-it-yourself art stations, multiple stages of entertainment, Earth Day nature and environmental activities, working artists and demonstrations, cultural displays and demonstrations, heritage crafts, an interactive Wishing Tree, and more.
The impact of our natural environment on our culture, way of life, and planet will be prominently featured by exhibitors from the Hampton Clean City Commission in honor of Earth Day. This is a special partnership with the Hampton History Museum, Parks Special Events, the Hampton Clean City Commission, Hampton Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, as well as additional support from Hampton Arts and the Fort Monroe Authority’s Museums, Education and Interpretation Department. The Hampton Mosaic Festival is designed for family and friends of all ages. We encourage everyone to proudly wear their cultural attire, whatever that may be.
