Social distancing is in full effect and it can be a bit overwhelming. In efforts to help flatten the curve of the Coronavirus Governor Northam has recommended, “All restaurants, fitness centers, and theaters are mandated to significantly reduce their capacity to 10 patrons, or close. Restaurants are encouraged to continue carry-out and takeaway options.”

Everything seems to be closing while some cabin fever is starting to settle in. Although you may not be able to do some of the things you enjoy like going to the gym or seeing a new film at the movie theater, you can still enjoy a meal from some of your favorite restaurants. Many Hampton restaurants are offering alternate options and even some specials.

If you’re still eating well off of the groceries that you have at home, consider purchasing a gift card from one of the local eateries! When you buy a gift card to a local business, a mini loan is essentially created. They get the income today, and the buyer gets a delicious meal tomorrow. Our local businesses need all of the help that we can give them right now, so let’s support them where we can.
