Dr. John T. Biggers became one of most influential American art educators in the 20th century. His dedication to educating and inspiring the current and future generations would manifest in his own creations and those of his endeared students.

John Biggers: Dance of Creation (April 2025) will explore the work and influence of Dr. Biggers from his time as a student at Hampton Institute (now, Hampton University) to him being a fully-fledged educator and nationally recognized artist. Various works in this retrospective exhibition have never been showcased before. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the foundational works that have galvanized Dr. Biggers’ legacy as a world-renowned artist and educator.
