The City of Hampton invites you to the First African Landing Commemoration Concert featuring COMMON with Sounds of Blackness. This is just one of many activities being held in Hampton, VA August 23-25, 2019 to recognize the 400th anniversary of the 1619 first landing of Africans in English North America at Point Comfort, site of Fort Monroe in Hampton. Tickets are free to the public with a limit of 4 tickets per household. Everyone must have a ticket. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 24 at 12:00pm. Tickets are available at Hampton Coliseum Box Office, The American Theatre Box Office, and online at www.ticketmaster.com (fees apply).
