Join hosts Reginald Robinson and Judy Leonard to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this “must be there to believe it” annual celebration. Take a stroll down memory lane recalling the premier seaside resort for African-Americans during Jim the Crow era. Accompanying this special event is a weekend-long display of artifacts from Reginald Robinson’s extensive personal collection of photos, documents and mementos from BayShore that is not to be missed!
Your engaging hosts will entertain with skits, contests and sing-alongs, and will enlighten with history and stories. Evening highlights include honoring inductees to the BayShore Hall of Fame 2024 class, and presentation of the 2024 Charles H. William Award of Leadership. In celebration of a decade of BayShore Experiences, cookies and ice cream cups will be served. This is an in-person event, and it will not be broadcast, nor recorded. Seating is limited and first-come, first-served.
To complement the 10th anniversary of the BayShore Beach Experience, an amazing collection of rare artifacts from neighboring Buckroe Beach courtesy of Laura Sandford and Martha Morris will be on view
