The Downtown Hampton Development Partnership is pleased to announce the return of Downtown Hampton Block Parties with regional and national acts, along with returning events such as the popular Bob Ross Paint Night, Rolling of the Bulls, and the Waiters Race presented by Sysco, which will take place throughout downtown all summer long and on Halloween. 

Now in its 24th year, the Downtown Hampton Block Parties have evolved into giant get togethers for all ages with music, a children’s play area, and vendors each week on Queens Way. The lineup includes music from all genres; from “yacht rock” with Schooner or Later, to “Psychobilly Freakout” with Reverend Horton Heat. New to the  Block Party lineup this year is Agents of Good Roots who toured with Dave Matthews and scored two rock radio hits, “Come On” and “Smiling Up the Frown”. All Block Parties begin at 6 p.m., with bands taking the stage at 7–10:30p.m.
