The educational floating tour has been operating for a quarter century, showing and telling in accurate, detailed and entertaining fashion.
“Miss Hampton II has become the sole tour vessel in Virginia to employ professional narrators to guide its tours,” says Capt. Mike Hebert. “These four trained professionals, who have been with Miss Hampton II for between 10 and 21 years, mingle with the passengers as they talk. They know their history and culture and answer passengers’ questions during the tours.”
Tour prices (excluding taxes) for three-hour Harbor Tours are $27 for adults, $25.00 for seniors, $17 for children 6-12, and those under 6 are free. Military rate for those people with ID is $22. There are also private charter cruises for groups of 50-117 available. Group rate is $22. Teen party cruises, which have a disc jockey, pizza and dancing, are an especially popular option for school groups.
