During the event, rescue groups will present breed rescue information in the lobby Friday through Monday. In addition, over 20 vendors will be on site offering pet merchandise, home improvement, and specialty treats unique to the Hampton Roads area.

New this year, in conjunction with the shows, North American Diving Dogs (NADD) will offer four days of dock diving and air retrieving competition. Find out how to register your dog with NADD and enter your dog in the competition on their website at www.northamericadivingdogs.com. If you aren’t sure your dog will like dock diving, show up before 12:30 p.m. and take advantage of the open pool for “try-it/practice” during the judges break between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.

This year the show also welcomes back the “Atlantic K9 Vest Fund.” This fund will provide bullet proof vests for all canine police in the Mid-Atlantic region. Friday through Monday the public is invited to come meet local Hampton Police and learn how to help save the life of a canine police dog. Visit www.atlantick9vestfund.org.
Throughout the duration of the event, club representatives will be on site to provide general information, as well as breeder referral information, for visitors interested in a specific breed.  Please note, personal dogs and dogs not entered in the show will not be permitted in the building. No dogs will be sold.
