On Saturday, April 15, celebrate the arrival of spring at Sandy Bottom Nature Park during the Easter Eggstravaganza. The annual event, scheduled 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., will include the Easter Bunny, a children’s craft area, prizes, food vendors, and more.
Ten Easter egg hunts per group will be held throughout the day, starting every half hour (the first set will start at 10:00 a.m., the last set at 2:30 p.m.). The hunts are to be broken down by age group (3-6 years of age and 7-12 years of age). One hunt per child, per age group, please. Only 250 tickets will be sold for each age group and can only be purchased on the day of the event, first come first serve. Each child that participates in a Hunt will receive a free goodie bag equipped with educational and nature based materials, along with a small toy and candy.
In addition to the Easter egg hunts, children will also have a chance to have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. The cost is $8.00. Other activities include a children’s craft area, food sales, and much more.
Taking place at one of Hampton’s most popular family attractions, Sandy Bottom Nature Park, this year’s hunt is sure to be a hit with both parents and children alike.
