Fun Filled Saturday In Hampton!

This Saturday, October 20, will be a busy one in the City of Hampton! Grab the family, bundle them up, and then head outside for several events happening right in your backyard.

 

Bluebird Gap Farm Festival - Bluebird Gap Festival - 60 Pine Chapel Rd - 10AM to 5PM:

On Saturday, October 20, check out the return of the Blue Bird Gap Farm Festival! The event, held rain or shine, will include awesome activities and events like punkin’ chunkin’, live entertainment, happy hay rides, and more! There will also be craft beer and food available for purchase. Best of all, the event is free and open to the public.

Peninsula SPCA's Barktoberfest Dog Walk & Festival - Mill Point Park in Downtown Hampton - 12PM to 5PM:

Barktoberfest (formerly Paws for a Cause) is the Peninsula SPCA’s annual fundraiser to benefit homeless animals! This family (and dog)-friendly event will include rescues, vendors, exhibitors, and community partners, and of course, our annual dog walk! Guests can enjoy fun fall activities, live music and a craft-brew beer garden! And as always, all proceeds will benefit the animals and programs of the

Hampton Comicon - Hampton Roads Convention Center - 9AM to 4:30PM:

3rd Annual Hampton Comicon is coming Oct 20-21, 2018 to the Hampton Convention Center. Two full days of family-friendly fun for comic book and pop culture fans.

SPACE FUNK - POP-UP ART SHOW! - The Vanguard Brewpub & Distillery - 12PM to 5PM:

Space Funk is set to blast-off at The Vanguard Brewpub & Distillery in Hampton, VA on Saturday, 10/20 from 12- 5pm. The pop-up art show is inspired by the iconic Hampton Coliseum and its deep history of live performing arts. This charitable event benefits Multiple Sclerosis, Hampton City Schools Fine Arts Department, Hampton Arts Commission and the Matteson Children’s Fund. The event is free, with a suggested $5 donation to the charities. All ages, 21+ to partake in adult beverages. Space Funk is presented by Screens ‘n’ Suds, Mothership Art Collective and The Vanguard.

The event will debut a newly curated print series exploring “Space Funk” and a very exciting Auction featuring original art, prints, and other memorabilia with all proceeds benefiting MS Society, Hampton City Schools Fine Arts, Hampton Arts Commission and The Matteson Children’s’ Fund.
