September 26, 2017 |

On Saturday, October 14, celebrate a return to simpler times at the Phoebus Fall Festival. The event, taking place 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., will feature live music, arts and crafts vendors, food vendors, a doggie costume parade, pie eating contest, children’s activities, and Lucky The Dinosaur!

Returning this year is the Craft Beer Festival, taking place on Mellen Street. Eight craft beer vendors will be offering two selections a piece (16 beer tastings total) to festival attendees. Participating craft beer vendors include Midnight Brewing, Seven Arrows, Brass Cannon, Apocalypse Brew Works, Shiner, Wyndridge Farm Brewing, Sierra Nevada Brewing, and Chaos Mountain. Cost is $25 for 16 tastings or $5 full pour.

Live musical entertainment will take place throughout the day on the Hope Street Stage, including music by USAF Full Spectrum. In addition, Phil Poteat will be in attendance as well as the Betty Smith School of Dancers and the Marching Elites.

This year, Mellen Street will be closed for a Vendor Market featuring local crafters and community organizations, including the Phoebus Volunteer Fire Company.

At 1:00 p.m., the Phoebus Fall Festival goes to the dogs with the Doggie Costume Parade and Costume Contest! Register your pooch at Doggie in the Window beginning at
