The Hampton Roads Convention Center hosts a variety of exciting events throughout the year. The events listed below will take place in the coming year and are open to the public. Please visit event websites for additional information.

02 | 8th Annual Hampton Roads Tattoo Festival (Mar 2-4)

8th Annual Hampton Roads Tattoo Festival (Mar 2-4)Presented by Folk City Tattoo and Twisted Ink magazine, this is the largest tattoo event in Virginia. Hundreds of tattoo artists, vendors, and live music all weekend. Shows include The New Olde City Sideshow live human circus, Hooks & Halos body suspension team, and the Miss Hampton Roads Pin-up Girl Contest. There will also be a kids’ temporary tattoo contest on Sunday! During the event, interested attendees have the option of speaking with tattoo artists and having the work performed on-site. The cost of each tattoo is in addition to the entrance fee price and is negotiated between customer and artist. $25 daily, $45 Weekend Pass, $35 Military Weekend Pass. Friday: 2:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m. Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m. Sunday: 12:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m.

Virginia RV Show (9-11)The Virginia RV Show is back in 2018 with great deals on motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels! Now is the time to plan your family’s summer fun. Stock up on all the essentials and gather great ideas for your next RV vacation. Come ready to shop the newest in accessories for RVs,as well as campgrounds. Insurance and financing will also be available on site. Plus, attend daily seminars to pick up some new info and tips to help with your purchase. Everything you need for your outdoor adventure is at the Virginia RV Show! Friday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:00p.m. Saturday: 10:00a.m. – 7:00p.m. Sunday:  10:00a.m. – 5:00p.m.

17 | Southeastern Guns & Knives Show (Mar 17-18)

The gun show is an American tradition that traces its roots to the early days of our country's settlement, when hunters and trappers ended their season in a "rendezvous." Like those early meetings, the contemporary gun show is an event that allows participants to view, buy, sell, and trade a wide variety of shooting and sporting products.  Gun shows contain a mix of accessories and weaponry. Displays range from rare and collectible civil war weaponry to the most recent hunting and shooting products. General merchandise also found at the show include army surplus, shooting supplies, historical collectibles, and other forms of militaries. Children 14 and younger are free and children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older $80.00 per 8 foot table Show Hours: Saturday 9-5 Sunday 10-4

24 | Greenberg’s Great Train & Toy Show

Greenberg’s Great Train & Toy ShowGreenberg’s Great Train & Toy Show is the largest and longest-running model train and collectible toy show in the country. The show is geared towards the general public and towards modelers and hobbyists, featuring hundreds of tables of trains and accessories for sale, huge operating exhibits, activities for kids, and more. All aboard! Admission: Adult tickets $10.00 Saturday or $9.00 Sunday All Saturday tickets good for both days Children 11 years and under are admitted free (Onsite ticket sales cash only)
