Virginia Hot Rod & Custom Car Show (5-6)Get your car out of hibernation... the biggest indoor car show in VA is back! The VA Car Show, held in Hampton, VA, aims to celebrate classic cars and 1950s, 1960s, and 1970s culture. This show pulls the best lineup of classics, muscle cars, restored cars, classic trucks, pro street cars, custom bikes from the Mid-Atlantic and South East. Saturday from 10:00 am-9:00 pm Sunday from 10:00 am-5:00 pm

39th Annual Virginia Duals Wrestling Tournament (Jan. 11-12)The Peninsula Wrestling Association hosts the 39th Annual Virginia Duals Wrestling Tournament at the Hampton Coliseum. The team advancement concept started in Hampton, Virginia with the Virginia Duals in 1981 and is now used by Virginia and many other states to determine the best high school team in the state. The National College Wrestling Coaches Association also recognized the value of the Team Advancement concept and now has the National Dual Team Championships to recognize the best college team in the nation. The Virginia Duals Wrestling Tournament is the largest college and high school tournament in the world. For more information, visit www.virginiaduals.org.

The Wonderettes are back! This seasonal celebration finds the girls entertaining at the annual Harper’s Hardware Holiday Party. When Santa turns up missing, they use their talent and creative ingenuity to save the holiday party! Featuring great 60s versions of holiday classics such as “Santa Claus Is Comin’ to Town,” “Jingle Bell Rock,” “Run, Rudolph, Run,” and “Winter Wonderland,” the result is, of course, marvelous! Showcasing festive costumes, stellar voices, and fantastic vocal arrangements, The Winter Wonderettes is a terrific way to continue the yuletide celebration into the New Year! Southeastern Guns & Knives Show (12-13)Southeastern Guns and Knives is an organized and legal gun show event that promotes understanding of the shooting sports, appreciation of American history, and an opportunity to view historic and contemporary weapons. A variety of people, from professionals to blue-collar workers, attend gun shows. Gun show patrons attend the shows as collectors, hobbyists, sportsmen, and hunters; many also attend because they are interested in home defense.
